You are not Dagger, who has saved my life several times, when we were new to the company and left at the mercies of instructors who cared little about our survival.
You are not Ghost, who I would sacrifice this whole crew for, if I must, and who would do the same for me.
You are not Mother, who sacrificed so much for a greater good. You are not Hornet, who has worlds upon worlds and knows every way there is to survive.
You are not Armada or Warriorhead, who are my brothers, and who I would mourn should I outlive them.
I have outlived generations of your people. I have survived more worlds than you have ever been to. And I am still here.
[ now that's the stuff he likes hearing about. pretty sure none of that is written down in her file. there's a series of messages, a little while later, ]

I didn't say that you should. I have my own comrades to worry about, so I understand. They are important to me, and one of the reasons I am here.
But it looks like we have no choice but to work together, and trust is a two-way street. It takes a lot of effort -- for me, too.
And I know struggling against all this will destroy me, as it has before. I would like to continue surviving, just like you. That's all I want.
I need some peace of mind.
Will you tell me more? About the life you have led.

No.
And I don't care to read it. It's meaningless to me. I came to ask you, as you are today, talking to me.
So this task is too difficult for you? 'I don't have to,' sounds more like 'I can't,' to me.

Why should I trust you?
