[ Alright, so... it might have taken a few days for that time to actually appear.
What between fighting a giant ugly god baby and all the harpies it decide to vomit up on top of them. By the end of it all, she's exhausted and almost sleeps through one whole day just recovering all the neon she spent. It doesn't help that the previous day ended up with a surprise visitor in the form of the spotted white-peach furball sleeping in the hood of her coat—it's fluffy tail the only visible part of it curled around her neck. Not to mention, it took some asking around to find the place and when Fetch finally arrives in a splash of bright pink color... she should have guessed this would be the place.
Ah, well. Better later than never? And at least she's nice enough to knock. ]
[ She doesn't mind. Time is slow for someone who ages by the
century, if a little more than that, a couple days or so flicker by her the
same way an hour must seem like to those who live shorter lives. That said,
she'd expected Walker to appear sooner than later. No matter; she's here
now.
She peers through the porthole - on tiptoe - before yanking the
rover door open with more force than a small person should probably be able
to. Gliese can see traces of pink in the light around her, and remembers
what her abilities are. Neon, her file says. A kind of light.
She flicks her hand and catches a thread of pink, and in doing so
draws a thread of yellow of her own. ]
I had only heard of you. You control light?
—Oh, ah. Come in. Mind the children. [ Inside the rover is a
veritable horde of bahari hatchlings; some are older, from the previous
recruits who had left theirs behind but managed not to die from heartbreak,
and a few smaller ones, hissing and snapping at the older ones' tails and
ankles. At the center of the rover, in front of the lone bed, are two very
very large bahari - Gliese's own from her name day, Hetr and Bitr.
Hetr snaps his teeth at his wife's ears, and she bats at his face in
well-practiced annoyance. Everything in the rover dwarfs Gliese in size, in
comparison. She is hardly bothered by this, or the fact that all the chairs
have now been taken over by potted plants or yowling cats. ]
[ It's a bit of a surprise. She's only seen the Captain through that video back on the ship and honestly, anyone would seem small compared to Optimus. Fetch isn't terribly tall herself even in her heavy combat boots but that said, the force used to open the door isn't anywhere close to a surprise because of that same video. Really, she's sure that Gliese could rip this entire rover apart like paper if she wanted.
Her reaching out causes Fetch to blink, noting as Gliese caught the flicker of neon that still hung in the air around her and the shine of yellow that appeared as she did. It causes a moment of pause and curious stare before Gliese's words catch up with her. Hopefully whatever she's heard has been good things... ]
Pretty much. Mine isn't like Alina's sort of light since her's natural and all but neon has it's uses. [ Fetch laughs and it helps (helps her anyway) and nods her head with the mention of children. ] But, uh... will do and thanks.
[ Gliese wasn't kidding about the children and she stops to watch them once inside. The playing is enough to stir Morris from his sleeping spot for a moment, tiredly looking around before snuggling back into her hood with a sneeze. Still, it's definitely a gathering in here between the little ones running around to the large ones sitting center of it all.
And here she thought Ringo and Koroleva were big... ]

Hey, it's a pretty cute mess though.
